Welcome to the Products page! I have not received payment or product from any of these companies. These are just things I've picked up at the grocery store in hopes that they will appease the inner Unicorn.

Silk Oat Yeah Oatmilkgurt, The Mixed Berry One, 5.3 oz (individual serving), retails around $2.50

So this was on sale at my usual grocery and I had an online coupon, so I thought I'd give it a go. This was my first try at a yogurt-type product in many months. Tbh, I wasn't optimistic, but since I was getting a deal, I thought that now was the time.

The color was good. Berries = pinky purple. Spot on.
The texture was... odd. Thin and a bit runny for my idea of what yogurt should be, but then again, I was a devout Greek yog girl before this diagnosis.
It smelled good, like berries. Just like it should. No weird smells here.
As for the taste. It does taste like berries. And there was no funky aftertaste. Both of those are positive. But I just can't get past the texture. Not at that price. If it was offered to me or maybe if it was at the hotel breakfast buffet, I'd eat it again. Might be good in a smoothie, but then again, it is sorta cost-prohibitive.

This one just isn't for me.

No Whey truffles by No Whey Foods LLC

As we were sitting on the plane waiting to take off from Salt Lake City a couple weeks ago, I mentioned that I missed truffles. So, my hubby jumped on the interwebs and found No Whey and ordered me a box, which arrived about 5 days later (I think). I wasn’t really that optimistic. I mean, how can Unicorn truffles taste good? Expecting a horrible aftertaste, I tried the “Milk” fudge option first. Land sakes and hold the phone! Amazing! The texture is perfect. The flavor is great. And there is no aftertaste! Creamy, delectable yumminess!

You can buy these, and many other chocolates, at www.NoWheyChocolate.com The insert that came in the box said they will have chocolate bunnies in time for Easter. Maybe I’ll get myself some...

Hope chipotle cashew & almond dip by Hope Foods.  www.HopeFoods.com

Ok, so this one is a bit of a cheat for me. Just a small one. “Coconut aminos” is one of the ingredients and coconut is a no-no for me. But it’s just a small bit and doesn’t seem to bother me (maybe if I ate the entire container, which I would do, with a spoon, or just my fingers, it might bother me then).

Hubby and I were grocery shopping last week and came across this in with the hummus. Again, I used the magic phrase “I really miss” and he made me buy this. “Just try it. If it’s awful, throw it out and don’t get it again.”  Ok. I shall honor thy wishes, Sir Wonderful!

Sooooo glad I did! It is delicious! The color is reminiscent of  bar cheese or pimento cheese dip, which was a bit off-putting at first. But, really, self, it’s chipotle flavored, so the color is fine. To look at it, you can see the spices and tiny little pieces of the nuts. But it isn’t crunchy, unless you put it on crackers. It smells like roasted tomatoes, which is good because they’re in there.

My only issue is that the container is only 8 ounces. I’m not kidding when I say I could eat this stuff by the pound! Super excited to check out the other flavors. Roasted red pepper? Spinach and artichoke? Y’all, they have a chocolate dip! Excuse me while I go tie on a bib and get set to gain a trillion pounds.

Now that summer is officially over (48* this morning brrrr), I have found an ice cream that I love! Ok, so I had one before (Vegan dessert at Aldi) but lately they hadn't had any on the shelves and I'm now convinced it is a by-gone. But I digress.

While Hubby and I were at the grocery store, we happened to be in the bread aisle which is also the ice cream aisle. Coincidence? Perhaps not. Since Aldi isn't a reliable source for ice cream, I thought I'd just check the shelf again to see what was available. Low and behold, there were 2 different brands that had options that weren't made with coconut milk (now, there is a touch of coconut oil in them both, but that doesn't seem to bother me). Again, Hubby insisted I take them home and try them. And they were on sale, after all, so why not?

So Delicious brand Salted Caramel Cluster made with cashewmilk... do you hear it? That's angel choirs, baby! Hubby can't have it because of the sugar, but I sure can! And it is divine! Smooth, creamy, chocolatey, caramely, and salty. If I didn't know it wasn't actual ice cream I would be fooled for sure. How they got the texture spot on and the flavor so good, I have no idea. Don't really care. Just want cases and cases of this deliciousness. Please and thank you!
